im in the need for a new chain as mine is kinda stretched and prob due for replacement

i was thinking of also getting a +2 or +3 swing arm extender (i only ride trails)

im also gonna be putting my 12T front sprocket on the motor

now the 12T shold need a shorter chain, and the extention needs a longer chain

is there an easy way to figure out how long a chain i need?
buy it extra long and cut to fit? (seems like a waste)

i dont want to use the dual master link setup that comes with the extender it just seems like a bad idea

while im in there any DIY case saver ideas from you hacks :)?

I calculate the length of the chain like this

Stock length + (extension length × 2)=new length

That'll get you close. Also replace the rear sprocket while you're at it. You don't want a worn sprocket to eat up your fresh chain

so i got a ebay store to sell me a kit with a 110link chain (stock 92) and i cut id down to fit

man what a differance the 2" extender and the drive sproket made its like anew bike

i know i hurt my topend but i dont care 3rd gear is my new fav trail gear, 1st can finally put put around when its tight without alot of clutching

did some 2up riding, thats kinda weird cause she wont slide right

gotta take a click outa the front shocks and it'll be perfect

popping over logs no-longer feels like im gonna flip over just nice and smooth hops

im gonna flip my front tires back to stock now and see if it aleviates some of the arm fatigue when riding the lil track we built
