I went to this petcock. I would try referencing this to the lt50 part number. They could be the same. This did the trick for me.
Completely understand. Many times ppl, including myself, get impatient with lack of results and make poor decisions. Lesson learned and thank youStarter fluid, I could not be more serious, the use of it has been responsible for shortening the running hours of countless two strokes.
It comes second to pouring fuel in the spark plug hole as a life shortening practice.
If it won't start the conventional way something needs fixing!
it does no lubrication in the lower part of the engine. it can be used on any engine that has its own lubrication system (i.e. 4 strokes)not to rain on the parade....but they must be really sticking it to us/cuz ever can of starting fluid i have ever seen/says upper cylinder lubricant....
??????
just what is starting fluid really for?....campfires?
i have a can of it....yet do i use it on a quad or bike no....ive only used it for chainsaw lawnmowers../things i dont care about/or get for free to see if they work/at all
Did not replace the petcock yet. I have cleaned the carb over and over, but doesn't seem to be enough. Airscrew set at 2 rotations out and choke stays on when attempting to start, then needs to be depressed to disengage.it does burn extremely hot.
so not good to use on a 2 stroke
anyways to origional poster??
i thought you replaced the pet c-ock??
if it is flooding i dont see how you cant disconnect hose to see if it runs/with float bowl full of fuel?
i have accidently left gas off before and it still runs for like 1-2minutes
you are deffinetly overlooking something
i had a ttr90 with the carb up front like that/super hard to adjust/get to...and guess what was the problem...the carb.
this question was never asked?
what is airscrew set at?does choke work/or fall back closed when your trying to start it?
Are you holding the throttle open when starting?Did not replace the petcock yet. I have cleaned the carb over and over, but doesn't seem to be enough. Airscrew set at 2 rotations out and choke stays on when attempting to start, then needs to be depressed to disengage.
Well give it a shot. I usually choke mine and give it some throttle, and she fires up.
using the choke and then opening the throttle slide makes the choke completely useless...Well give it a shot. I usually choke mine and give it some throttle, and she fires up.
Def not the relay. Tested it on a third lt80 that's compatible. I will try a better battery. Thanks for all of ur responses guys! That buzzing could be a discharged battery.
