    Is it worth putting 18 inch shocks I haven't found any posts on the 18 inch shocks my set up will be asr long travel I want to know because I want the 10 inches of travel it will help me a lot because I try jumps that not even my frame has taken I have a pic of the worst crack on the frame we might get it rewelded this is the second time but I have a few parted out blaster and my 06/race bike but I wanted if it is really worth the effort and will it work with the stock 06 hood and another reason I want to see is because my friend has a 2018 yfz450 and he is planning to get elkas hand he's giving me his old ones either I'm gonna sell em or keep em if not I'll buy either 450x or 450 till I get the money for elkas or fox float evols btw he got an 18 for no reason he spent 10500$ and can't beat atleast an Apex 90 I told him one u get better u better bear me I love racing and I can't race if a component or bone is broken because of shocks I have 1st places against 450s but I always hurt myself because all the front shocks I have are blown for the same reason I run Alba's I'll but on the asrs onces I get em shocks for it thank you

    Have you considered contacting ASR?
    Or having shocks cut down?

    I wante to know I'd I should re locate the upper shock mount to fit the 18 for more travel
