    installing grease fittings into swingarm

I put some in mine on the recent tear down. Have to be careful where you place them. The one on the right on mine just barely clears the engine when the suspension is compressed. I put 90 degree ones so you can get to them easier from the side.

Cometic Triple Head Gaskets Vs. Normal??????

A lot of engines use the MLS (multi layer steel) like the Cometic. I work in a machine shop and we build engines anywhere from Briggs and Stratton on up to Cat. Almost all the high compression performance engines we do we use the MLS like the Cometic. Duramax diesel engines use them from the...

    My project Blaster

Took the Banshee and the Blaster to Little Sahara Oklahoma the next weekend after the Beaver Oklahoma trip. The stator on the Banshee was acting up so put the sand tires on the Blaster again and rode it till I could get the stator changed on one of our breaks. Anyway here is a pic from the...

    Stiff suspension

Took the Blaster to Waynoka to the dunes. Ran great, but the front shocks even at the loosest setting are so stiff it just beat the hell out of me. Anything a guy can do to loosen the front end up a little so it absorbs a little more of the bumps?

    Blaster grab bar

I'm just going to live with it being offset. Saw several at the dunes that way. It is functional and worked for when it dug in and I needed something to grab. Thinking about selling the Blaster eventually anyway. Just too short and beat the hell out of me compared to the Banshee.

    My project Blaster

Took the Blaster to Beaver Sand Dunes State Park near Beaver, OK and had a ball with it. It ran great. I rolled the Banshee and messed up the throttle cable so it was done mid day Saturday. Pulled the sand tires and wheels off it and put them on the Blaster and screamed around the rest of the...

    restoring faded platics

Mine were slightly faded and when I ran the heat gun over the stress marks, it actually helped get rid of some of the fading. So I just ran the heat gun over the entire fenders and was amazed. Just don't hold the heat in one place too long.

    Jetting suggestions

Did an 04 top end for a friend. It had an FMF pipe and stock carb with UNI foam filter. We ended up at 270 on the main jet with the lid on. Altitude here is around 1300 ft above sea level. No lid makes a considerable difference as I have found on my current project so make sure you jet richer if...

    My project Blaster

Finished for now. Wound up with a 152 main and will leave the air box lid off and add an Outerwears over the foam filter. Not perfect, but it is just a beater for the nepews and nieces to ride so they stay off my Banshee. Anyway here are some pics:

    Jetting with lid

Wish I knew the conversion. My Banshee has stock carbs and is at 280 on the main and is perfect for 70-80 degrees with the lid on. When we ride in 90+ I have to run with the lid off but that is not very often. Really don't like running without lid. Banshee took a drink and the RPM went...

    Jetting with lid

Been playing with my Blaster project I just got finished. I jetted way up because it had seized and was concerned that maybe it was too lean. Now I think it may have had an air leak. Anyway I am running a PWK 28 with standard needle that comes in it (forget the number right off hand), Toomey B1...

    Blaster grab bar

Makes no difference. I held it up there the other direction and it is still offset. The mounting bars are welded in centered in the tube and there is just no offset at all.

    Blaster grab bar

I didn't have to weld on it or anything. It bolted right up. I had to drill two new holes to widen the tail light mounts. I don't have an original Blaster tail light but instead used a spare Banshee light I had. I also had to do a little grinding on the right hand forward side so my exhaust...

    Blaster grab bar

Looks like the mounts on that one are welded the same as mine. I sent the guy a message on e-bay letting him know. I modified it so I can't really ask to return it. Should have mounted it and looked at it before hand. Just tried to get ahead of the game at work so I coould mount it up when I got...

    Blaster grab bar

Hmmmm!!??? Here is the link to the E-Bay page I bought if from: http://http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=200589515320&viewitem= And here are some pics of it mounted: Guess I am stuck with it because I modified it for the tail light and the exhaust...

    Blaster grab bar

Dumb question, but are Blaster grab bars offset to the right? Bought a cheap $41 grab bar on E-Bay. Bolt it up and it is offset to the right and looks odd to me. Fully funtional and was able to mount one of my spare Banshee tail lights to it, just looks odd.

    My project Blaster

Thanks guys. In this case the pictures do it justice. The rolling chassis is in great shape but the plastics are very rough. They do look lots better since I spent about an hour and a half running a heat gun over them. Made the stress marks look a lot better and actually made the fading kind of...

    My project Blaster

Had to go down to the garage for some pics for some E-Bay stuff so shot a few quick pics of the Blaster. Waiting on the new front brake cables so the hood isn't on yet. Also have a rear grab bar coming and need to do some touchup on a few things. My boy and I will bling it out as we go and hope...
