It only threw smoke for a sec. I decided to let it warm up and i went to make a run and it bogged down and almost died- barely got it back to the house- pulled the carb dropped 2 sizes and now she runs like a beast- i chopped and am prI baby going back to a 310 to be safe
The lid and snorkel are still on, it runs fine . I cranked it and it fires up and idles fine I did not let it warm up bc I wanted to check with the master minds here first
Ok so I just threw on a dmc alien full exhaust- vforce 4 reeds- everything else is stock
I'm at 800 ft above sea level and it is roughly 50 degrees outside and I'm jetted at 320 with the needle on the bottom clip ... am I safe enough to do a plug chop or should I jet higher say like a 350 or...

i ended up going with the dmc for multiple reasons - mainly due to the woman who spends all my money lol
and i think it will suit my riding style the best it's gets here in 2 days cant wait to get the ol blaster rippen again. very excited to see what the difference...
DMC it is fellas ordered today and it's in the mail.
Also thanks to many hours drudging through threads and you guy's input i also have mikuni jets 240-300 on the way . i'll let you guys know how it goes .

Stocker Plugs usually fall out and don't look as fly
they also keep stuff out of your frame ie. Dirt , water, mud ...etc
stock couplers and even some aftermarket couplers suck-they crack and cause leaks
it's lookin like the dmc b/c i don't know jack about jetting or even have the slightest clue as to where begin,
