hi i am using copper gaskets top and botton on my jug do i need to spray anything on gaskets before i install them ie grease,silicone. are copper gaskets good to use as a base gasket?

hi really nead a reed spacer cant seam to get one only place is amazon but dont post to scotland if any one has a spare spacer i would love to buy it. got a new carb and it hits the clutch lever cant ride untill get spacer thanks
