I orded the cases already. They should be here this week sometime along with new seals and bearings. Never heard of tommy cycle. A good friend of my cousin does custom porting for fun so he hooked me up. I'm off of school myself so I'm especially pissed that I have to wait even longer to get...

Did the leak test today....wouldn't hold ANY pressure! Turns out there's a hole in the stator side of the case in the crankcase! Looks like I'll be searching for a case half....

Thanks braaaptor, that puts my mind at ease. Well it took me Damn near all afternoon to track down a low pressure air gauge to make a leak tester. Went to home depot, lowes, harbor freight, and then finally found something usable at northern tools. By the time I was done it was already time for...

Pulled the reed cage out last night on the blaster I recently bought and noticed there were no stops on the cage. Do I need these or is it common to remove them?

Got my motor back from the shop with a fresh port job and recieved a bunch of new parts in the mail. I'm still waiting...

Yeah man I ride at both. I live behind tamiami so I also ride the farm roads behind my neighborhood a lot. It'll prob be about 2 weeks till the bike is ready to go. Mostly just the wait for parts. That's really the only reason I decided to strip it down. But I'm glad I did! Found a bunch of...

What kinda paint you using? Seems most folks have problems with the paint chipping after painting their atv rims. Rustoleum hammered metallic.

Haha! That's cool, my best friend drives a 1st gen 4runner and we bust eachothers balls all the time even though we help eachother with our rigs all the time. Matter of fact I have a "Toyota recovery point" sticker on my rig and he has a "jeeps are cute, barbie drives one" on his. Love the...

Thanks guys! I started using a wire wheel to strip the frame today and came to the conclusion that it was going to take FOREVER doing it that way. Plus these frames just have too many hard to reach places. I was never going to get to them all doing it by hand....sooo, I picked up 100 lbs of...

A few coats of clear-coat on them rims will help protect your paint from chipping. I used the same paint on my jeep axles like 2 years ago with no clear and with all the abuse I put those things through the paint still looks pretty good. And I'm pretty sure my axles take more of a beating...

So I picked up this '98 Blasty on Thursday for 600 bucks....it's not in terrible shape but definately needs some work. I bought new tires, handlebars, and an FMF Fatty pipe with a TC2 silencer on friday. Today I stripped it down to the frame to paint everything while I'm waiting on...

Yeah I saw that too:-/...It's just the seat cover on the original seat foam. I'll Probably just throw some stickers over it.... And I will be posting a build up on it. I know it needs new crank seals too as it smokes quite a bit. Also, It has a new carb that the PO put on it but it...
