How to make your plastics look new again

Look up the Plastic Renew kit. I use the same process, but instead of buying the kit I use Mop 'N Glow. Works just as well and is way cheaper. I use Mop 'N Glow after each wash also and it keep everything shiny and looking like new.

    would these lights work?

Search for the wally lights diy thread to see how other people are hooking lights up. As long as you have lights that are less than 55 watts you should be okay. I put the wal-mart driving lights on mine and total cost was about $30. Works great.

    wrong forum

My Grandpa had one of the 125's that he used on the farm and that thing really was bulletproof and worked without any maintenance.

    Whats the next mod?

As already mentioned, I recommend Ken Oconnor's head redesign. It gives you a good boost in power and made mine accelerate better. Ken told me though to undo the +4 timing if you do the head mod. He also recommended changing to a b9es plug.

    big bore

Ken O'Connor has a video on youtube somewhere pointing out all of the differences in cylinders from big bore to stock. Check it out and see if you can find it. You will either have a stock cylinder with stock sleeve, stock cylinder with big bore sleeve, Vitos big bore cylinder, or LA big bore...

    painting head & jug

I think I agree with Paulie. If you are so close to overheating and a simple coat of paint pushes you over the edge there are other things you should take care of. That being said, I would still only use one or two coats of paint and not make it too thick. The old elsinore honda motocross...

    painting head & jug

Just do one or two light coats. You don't need to cake on the paint.

    Trail Tech Vapor Feedback

I have the endurance on my bike and it seems to be doing well. I thought the mount seemed cheap so I made my own and it is a lot stronger.

    Warrior or blaster? Please help!

Guys come on, lets give him a break. We all have things to learn and he is just trying to get some help. Lets get back to differences, pros/cons of blasters vs warriors. I will say that warriors are very reliable and make a good trail quad. But my wife decided that her warrior wasn't quite fast...

    Warrior or blaster? Please help!

I currently own both a warrior and a blaster. The blaster is MUCH more fun to ride and definitely my favorite..., but here in UT warriors generally hold their value better. Depending on how nice the warrior was, you could sell it and get another blaster with cash left over to upgrade it. Just a...

    big bore

I get what you are saying. I am kind of curious though, how do you think a non-ported big bore sleeve in a stock cylinder would stack up to a non-ported std bore? It seems like alot of people asking if they should get big bore kits don't have the cash for the whole cylinder kit, so they would be...

    big bore

People keep saying that a ported std bore will beat an unported big bore, but no one ever mentions a ported big bore. Wouldn't a ported big bore totally thrash a ported std bore blaster? Its like comparing apples and oranges in my mind.

Diy: How to build Nerf Bars

If you had access to a welder, you could use steel square tubing and weld the corners. I would be stronger and easier to get each side to be the same size and shape.

    speedometer

The mount it comes with would work, but I didn't trust it. It is a flimsy piece of plastic that is only attached on one side of the computer by one screw, then clamps around the handlebar.

Just a bore, or vitos 240 kit?

I just sent my head off to Ken Oconnor last week. It costs $60. You can look at his website for more info. kenoconnorracing.com.

    speedometer

If you are going to do it, I would recommend a different mount than the flimsy plastic handlebar clamp it comes with though. I couldn't bring myself to spend $50 on the aluminum one though, so I made my own. You definitely want to mount it on a flat metal plate.

    speedometer

I have the Trailtech Endurance computer on my CR250 and I love it. It is nice to have a speedometer, but I think I like even more to see how many miles a trail is. It can tell you maximum speed, average speed, current speed, miles, etc. You can also set reminders to tell you to change the oil...

    Sleeves that moved.

When I bought my blaster it had a big bore sleeve in the stock cylinder and it had twisted, so I don't think the problem is isolated to actual big bore cylinders. Is it possible to install these pins in the sock cylinder, and if so, is it possible to get it back out if I need the jug re-sleeved...

    TORS??

There is also a small switch in the throttle housing. I have heard that as it gets old, it stops working. I had to cut the switch off mine and splice the wires together to get spark on mine after I bought it.
