Exhaust Smoke

Some even put on a cap as well and secure with a teeny clip, to be sure, to be sure.

The last thing you want to happen, is for it to let in air.

Hey i know that 2 strokes smoke but mine seems to smoke all the time mostly at idle is when it smokes the most i have a short video of it smoking at idle so if someone could let me know if this is the normal smoke for the blaster.

I just watched your video, and I can say that WITHOUT QUESTION,your good to go. In the video,I see that its really cold outside. Obviously not warm weather. A large portion of that "Smoke" you see is actually steam from the moisture in the air and moisture that has clung to the exhaust (inside) from sitting. It will go away once its warmed up. All cars do it when they're warming up in the cold until they come up to tempurature.

There is nothing wrong with your blaster. You can take off the oil injection if you like, but why? Its a well thought out system that works VERY well and doesn't fail contrary to what you "Hear". The plastic drive gear doesn't break,or wear out,and the oil pump keeps on pumping. Most,if not all the problems you "hear" about the oil injection system failing, are rumors,or is do to operator error, like forgetting to put oil in the tank.
Putting oil in the tank AFTER the tank runs dry doesn't count.

I have been running the oil injection for about 9 years on my blaster, and I have porting, head mod, high compression, matched transfers, etc. My buddy has a 91 that he purchased "New" and is still running the oil injection after 21 years. Thats regular riding and is on its first over bore (66.25mm),and has been running that over bore for the last 9 years,so the 20 to 1 (mostly a guess) oil ratio obviously lubricates well.
Just a thought. To each his own. I totally get it. Just wanted to toss out some "facts" for you. Your blaster sounds good, and it looks like your having fun. I'm more of a warm weather rider.
