Exhaust Smoke

Hey i know that 2 strokes smoke but mine seems to smoke all the time mostly at idle is when it smokes the most i have a short video of it smoking at idle so if someone could let me know if this is the normal smoke for the blaster.

It seems a bit much. Does it clear out after warm up?
Does it smell funny?

No it smells like a 2 stroke and it clears up when running when it idles is when it smokes a good bit and could it be because its still oil injected

It is common to smoke some at idle and when you come off the throttle, but it should clear to a wisp of blue when you ride it.

What oil are you using and do you still have the tank or do you pre mix, if so what ratio?

I still have the tank and thats another thing im not sure what oil is in the tank so how do i drain that because i just bought some yamalube that i want to filler with

you take the hose off the bottom of the tank if you wanna drain it, but why not just burn it out? seems like a waste to me.

If you pull the hose off you may have to bleed the system.
Dump your Yamalube oil in on top, it seems like by what you describe that it is running ok.

Thanks for all the help i didn't think it was bad but just wanted to make sure and are there any cases where the oil injection actually stops working i have heard rumors but have never seen proof

I've heard of people getting air bubbles in one of the hoses and end up with a burned piston.....but I have not heard of the plastic pump gear failing and breaking to pieces in the case. However, not hearing didn't stop me from deleting the stock oiling system because I'd rather have the peace of mind of not worrying about air bubbles AND that the ratio is correctly mixed at 32:1. The stock oiling system mixes at about 20:1, which is likely why you're seeing the extra smoke
