So I changed all my gaskets cleaned everything up real good added a fuel filter and replaced the reeds and cage the bike has never run richer then I hears great throttle response I had major airleaks I was goin to trade for a 87 chevy pickup but I think I'm goin to hold off on that deal I got on...

I had the same problem and my reed cage on my vforce 3 was cracked and mine would chip off at the top I put stock ones in and they haven't given me a problem I do notice throttle response is a bit slow compared to vforce

I'm just goin to order new studs and bolts washers I just wanna ride

I watched Ken oconnor engine assembly vids on YouTube he torqued them to 25

They feel like there no building up pressure it feels like there threading on easy

It's where the head gasket bolts to there only around where the top bolt goes and the top left I couldn't get them torqued to 25 only about 20-22 ft lbs is this alright I replaced all the gaskets any help would be great thanks

Its 18 ft lbs onthe bottom 25 on the head boltsdont finger tighten them unless your the incredible hulk

Maybe you have a air leak or rings are fried I'm having the same problem I'm replacing my gaskets now so we will see how it feels need to pick up some case bond
