    Did that on the last collar but it was still leaking. Had to get a new one.

    Well I got the clutch side off and was able to spray it down. I've done replaced all seals and that collar behind the gear last year for the same leak. sh*t sucks, But I also have air coming from the trans side thru the oil holes. Thinking it's time for a rebuild and a big bore

    Yea I did that before and couldn't find it so I'm guessing it's on the clutch side.

    I already had a base gasket on hand. Didn't get a chance to use a feeler gauge but I got everything bolted up and I'm still having a air leak. So I'm going to take the clutch cover off and look for a leak on that side.

    Last weekend after a few minutes of riding I came to a stop and at idling my engine rpm went sky high. I cut it off let it cool offfor a while. I kicked it over and it backfired one time!     Would it hurt to put a spacer in front of the Vforce4 ? I have stock cage and spacer now and I'm buying a V4 today! Just want to know if it would work against each other.

    positive... I didnt touch the stripes black/white wires or the black wires that go to the kill switch and key switch.

    Yep I did that, its grounded at the stock regulator location, coil, and it connected back at the spot I cut it from. where the solid black wires connect and go to the key switch and all. so im guessing at this point I fried my CDI box

    Ok so the meter is reading it right? What about the coil wire not having voltage while kicking? I know there's no way to test the CDI box, but can it just go bad without even being in use? and thanks I'll let you know what I end up doing about the coil

    Bike shuts down at WOT!?!?

    Well I ended up spliting the case and found this small crack. Also I notice that half of the bolts that held the case wasn't torque at all. So I'm going to have this fixed and order a new collar and give it a second go
