  • My buddy just got a blaster and the owner claimed it had a +4 crank in it. There is a spacer plate, but I suspect there not to be a +4 in it. My question is...Would the spacer place knock off the port timing enough (if there was not a +4)so that it would not run right? Would it run at all?

By the way, I'm probably going to end up sending my engine to you over the winter for some work.
I thought it was perfect but Ill bump it up a couple just to be safe. This Shearer pipe sucks!
I think I'd like to get a right bend pipe though like an LRD, Dyno Port, or F7. Right now I'm running vito 67.5mm super stock piston. FMF goldseries the design before the fatty. I got it 15 yrs ago. FMF reeds and cage. I need new reeds so I thought I might try the v3 and I just got an IMS 4.0 gal tank but the pipe is hitting it. Do you know if any other pipes have this issue? or am I just that lucky to have the one pipe that does lol. thanks for your help
Yes, the transfer port timing is VERY important to get right on a stroker, I do not use the spacer or both gaskets. I set the head and cylinder up for 1 base gasket

Hi I'm new to atv's and I want the max out of my blaster. so what all can I do to a blaster engine to get the max hp without using anything more than 92-94 octane fuel? I like to ride long distance and mess around occasionally. I have no intention on racing other than when my buddies think they're sweet. I was thinking about a hotrods +4mm crank, vito's BB sleeve, wiseco BB piston, vito's hemi head, local shop port, bore, and shave job and jet job with a 4 degree advance on timing. Any advice would be greatly appreciated thanks everybody.
ok i put the 155 back in and it runs alot better,my problem is now when i ride for a little while and pull clutch or put in neutral the revs stay up until i either put back in gear or let the clutch out a little..any suggestions? Thanks for your help
