ya i just got new packing for the silencer today and put it all together and it kinda has a toomey sound which is cool....neighbors are not a fan but oh well...lol

well i know fmf offers a shorty silencer aside from their normal one for 2 stroke dirtbikes, i had both shorty and normal one on my 03 cr 250 and only really noticed a sound difference...but we shall see, if i blow the basty up cause of that then i will know not to do that again lol...

yes there is 2 mouting tabs on the silencer, but im just using the bottom one now, u can see it on the second picture

it was a deal for 120 since the pipe alone retails for almost 200 and this one is like brand new aside from the silencer, and cutting the silencer doesnt add anything aside from being alittle louder....i like the looks of it being small, i have cut down the exhaust pipes on some of my past...

so i picked up a dg full exhaust for 120 and the silencer was kinda beat up and leaking hence the price lol so i just decided to shorten it up a bit and re pack it, what do u all think??....i will post a video when i get the packing in it

I still have some things to address with modifiing the frame for strength but I def appreciate the input tho

good point blaaster, im going to gusset the rear section of the frame to the brace i put in just in front of the plate that goes across the subframe for the rear fender... not sure if u guys can see the round bar i welded in or not

so i decided to make myself a grab bar out of scrap steel from my shop and garage, also had to make the mounts on the left side of the sub frame in order to bolt it together, still have some spots to touch up and im gonna cap off the round bar stock on the sub frame on both sides(had to rebuild...

check your reeds, i had this same problem happen to me right after i did a fresh rebuild a few yrs ago.... and all it happened to be is the reeds.... just a thought

me too, i already ordered alot of parts lastnight for it, i had a vitos oil block off kit laying around so i did that lastnight, toomey b1 pipe, oko 30mm carb and new airbox all coming....

well i got laidoff work back in late 09 and had to sell all of my toys including my blaster i loved lol and its just been crazy in the past few yrs.... but back on my feet and doing better than ever.... but my gf's step dad had a blaster sitting in his barn that hasnt run in over 4 yrs and he...
