  • Hey.. I jetted it to a 190 and it drove great then it just like sputtered and stopped and won't start... I tried playing with the air fuel mix but nothing happened... Now the throttle won't even get hard towards the end what you think happened?
    Hey I was talking to the guy that I bought it from and he said he put a bigger main jet and he said it ran like crap.... I think I'm gunna try it still or try to plug chop tmrw... Couldn't today it was raining.. He did the plugchop and said it was good... I'm still gunna try ... What gear and what Rpms should I do it at
    Alright I'll get a bigger main jet... I'll let ya know how it feels with it in.... Shouldn't it be snappier at the top end. And faster... What does taking off the air box do? Just so it takes air faster... I would have to clean it alot cause I ride in dirt and sand and sh*t
    yeah u very well could be running super lean on topend, taking the airbox lid off and getting a bigger jet will give ya a bit more power also
    Oops forgot to ask if it Is black shouldn't I try and screw my pilot jet out or in.. It's out 1 and a half turns out right now..
    Alright, I'll let you know what happens when info that... I won't be able to do it till maybe one or two. Cause my mom worked nights last night.... But with my exhaust system on its so nice and snappy.. But it is slower on the top end which is why I think I should get a bigger main jet to so it will go a little bit faster on the top end, right?
    its ok.. this is my first quad and i built it piece by piece. if u will listen to what people here say u will be fine, no knowledgeable member would lead u astray. a 290 should be good but u need to do those plug chops to be sure. your pilot jet should be ok but if it feels funny off idle u could bump that up a size or 2 also but the main jet is the biggest concern.
