ok so im now confused the location of the shift rod is the left side of engine and i thought the clutch basket and all is on the right side the stator is the left side when shift rod is am i wrong? cause me taking the right side cover off to get to a left side shift component doesnt make sense...

so what has to happen on installing this.... what has to come apart is it an easy install???? thanks

just trying to get this thing rideable and noticed after doing the top end when running oil is leaking massive out of the seal on shifter rod and noticed its bent can i just heat this and straigten it or do i need to buy whole setup and replace also cant find this damn seal anywhere maybe its...

not 100% sure if its fuel as when i saw it i got pretty irritated and left... lol but i do know the kick start is not grabbing now... any ideas why as it wont turn motor over now... and thanks!

ok so i put up my wifes blaster in storage for the winter.... i live in maine so the winters here suck! very cold... well i just went to my unit to grab something and noticed oil from under the engine then i attempted to crank it over and the kick start isnt grabbing at it was fine a month ago...

there is a maier hood they make that directly bolts up to 2002 and below....

deniss kirk has the motion pro shorty cable for like 30 bucks but on back order till mid oct is what i was told when i went to order mine yesterday.... instead i got the exact kit but the brand is spi for 25 bucks off ebay.... id try that..... these kits are actually hard to get right now...

there have to be a yamaha dealership around you open a phone book at search around i live in maine in the middle of the woods largest town is population of 800 and i still manage to find every part i need locally... if they dont carry blaster cables there are a bunch of other yamaha model that...

hi.... im wondering on these blasters the zerk fittings look different then my raptors fittings are they the same thing loosen connect my grease gun fitting over and fill? the blaster fittings have a ball or bearing of some sort in the center of them im just not sure if i need an adapter..

so what is this boot im looking for called? and how do i replace this? thanks!

lol i didnt mean to say my wifes rear brake rotors... i meant her blaster..... just to correct this.....

ive noticed my wifes rear brake rotor has alot of play and it looks like the gaskets or whatever you call them are broken... how do i fix this and what is this part called??? anything will help thanks!

well once thing i noticed in this swap is the new hood had the key on the side..... with my 2000 blaster the key is up on the pod by handle bars.... if i removed it to put on new side i will have the same problem a big hole .....

so on the bearings how do i know if they are bad???? everything looks good rolls smooths just not as much greese in this shaft as i thought how much should i do just pack it theres no set amount?

do you or anyone have a pic of this white gear i need to pull? or is it the only white one in there??? so basically just pull this and its done? or do i need to find hoses to car and put a screw in them or cap???
