So to my luck, I was able to remove the carb and manifold and expose the broken bolt. Once removed, I was able to get a tiny pair of channel locks on the remaining part of the bolt and slowllyyyyy back it out! I was relieved as I was not looking forward to trying to drill out that bolt without removing a bunch of stuff so I could get my drill at the right angle. I purchased 4 new bolts and also made myself a new gasket from cork gasket material you can buy at the AutoParts store. Got everything sealed back up nice and tight and proceeded with inspection.
I also found that there was a bolt missing on the crank case as well! Not only one missing but another was very loose! Got a new bolt in there, tightened them all up and was hopeful for a solution to my low end problem from these possible leaks. Well unfortunately, no such dice. She feels a bit better, but shes still got the low end sputter.
I believe its the carb dumping wayy to much gas. The reason I say this is because for the full minute I was riding right before it ran out of gas and died, it was running AMAZING. There was gobbs more power. It felt nice and clean going through the gears as I went around the track.
I bought a stock carb, however, it is missing the throttle plate and cable receiver and what not. So now idk what the best route to go is for getting the stock carb on. He said he has the TORS setup, but I dont want to run that. Everyone removes it! LOL How do I make the stock carb work without the TORS? Here is a pic of the carb I bought.
