yeah i think fiberglass is perfect for it you can do more with it than metal for wayy cheaper. hope you do it

Ive done jet ski hoods and nose repair and wooeeee is it fun.
I wont bother links but google speaker enclosures , there are some really good fabricators making custom interiors for cars out of glass and carbon fiber, youtube it.
They show some good techniques like using long skinny balloons twisted into shapes then take a old t-shirt and soak it up with resin and stretch it over the mold to give it contours kind of free form without a solid mold behind it.
A nother is to shape something out of styrofoam then glass it and let it cure then pour lacquer thinner in it and it practically vaporizes the styrofoam
