My carb is pissing fuel out of the overflow on the back of the carb when I turn the bike off. It Doesn't leak a drop when it's running. Got a carb rebuild kit and cleaned it like crazy. No idea why it's leaking. Maybe the float has a crack or hole? The bike also revs weird like the revs are sticking and it rides sluggish in the middle of each gear opens up top end. I've had enough messing with it today any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Additionally info
05 blaster
New piston/rings
New cylinder
Vforce 4 reeds
Fmf fatty and silencer
Still has tors

I'd also like to know how to switch from thumb throttle to the twist throttle if anyone can point me to a thread on that. Thank you!

The hanging revs you refer to are 96.735% from an air leak. When the bike is running, spray carb cleaner around every nut/bolt on the engine. If the motor revs up, you've found your leak. If nothing, kill the bike and build a tester as the leak could be on the inside of the motor. DO NOT TEAR IT APART BEFORE DOING THE TEST. Leave the engine alone until you find the culprit.

Man I took the carb off about 5 times last Sunday trying to adjust the float height. I can't get it perfect. I'm going to try a few more times today. And yes I most definitely have an air leak somewhere. I'm going to do that carb cleaner trick but I feel the issue is internal. Still haven't removed tors
