LEAK DOWN AND COMPRESSION TESTER???!!!

Does anyone know where I can find a leak down test and a compression tester?

You can find them on e-bay or you can google it and possibly find some cheaper ones on-line.

If you go to google shopping you can find some for $20 or if you want one fast you can probably find one at Autozone

Member AWK08 has leak testers for sale. Send him a p.m .. As far as compression testers I have had troubles in the past with the "cheap" compression testers, like the ones from harbor freight. Autozone or similar brand compression testers work just fine.

Thanks everyone. I found a compression tester. Do I need to do a leak down test before rebuilding? I plan on compression testing it then rebuilding the top end.

ok. it had kinda piston slap for a while before it blew i believe

Anything causes leaks, piston slap could have knocked a seal loose, ect. Ect. Ect
