How to put HIDs onto your blaster

Ok guys lets bring up my reputation if you know how. I dont know how to give rep points... Lets start back alittle with some step by step pictures Step one get a two foot yellow wire with the same gauge wire that on the stator. 16 gauge should be about right or 14 gauge.

next step solder the yellow wire to the stator at the side you see in the picture.I have a aftermarket stator but it should be the same as stock. It will be the opposite side of where the black wire is attached.

Next your going want to run the wire alone with the other wires attached to the back of the stator. I do not have a picture of that. But it should be easy just follow the wires that are there. After that run the wire inside rubber grommet this will be hard to do so dont mess up the other wires that are in there. Next for a clean look run it in the wire loom if you can. It toke me a while to do but you can run it on the out side and just tape it up .These pictures should help

Now there is some directions!! Better, some more questions, maybe premature, No fuse or relay used?

You know what I didn't put a fuse on here. It will be a good idea to put a fuse after the reg/rec to the battery. I could look at a street bike and see if thats what they do. I know on street bikes the reg/rec hook right up to the stator with no fuse but they might have one between the reg/rec to the battery ,I will have to check. I will be adding a fuse between the battery and the HID I didn't even think about that when I was attaching them up but should be added whenever your attaching lights to your battery. Thanks slickerthanyou . I will do that when I'm welding up my rear frame and adding a R6 rear brake. :p

YOu know this is such a cool mod or upgrade , whatever you want to call it that I just had to bump this page for everyone to see. I never did get around to putting a fuse but I have been using them and they are flipping insane!! the system works great but my battery is damage so after a few hours on ,my light only starts working while moving. Then again those few hours just riding slow or standing still might have drained the battery.

You never posted these steps.

I know I didn't post the rest of the pictures but everything you need to know should be here.Since I don't remember where I let off ,if you get stuck or have any questions just let me know. I loss alot of my pictures I toke when I wired this but I still remember how everything is runs. Maybe I'll make a quick diagram and post it , then you guys can wire it however you like.

Just a question like that. i dont have any batteries on my blsater.. but it looks like there was brake light in the back .... i have wire duck taped .. i dont know if its that but what feeds the breake like if it has no battery?

The brake and head light only work when motor is running on stock blaster. It is an A.C. circut. The retifier/regulator changes it to D.C. Stock blaster has no battery.

this is actually done wrong as far as i know, depending on how you ran the rest of your wires atleast. that little plate you soldered the new wire to is the ground strap, youre supposed to remove the original wire from that plate and solder your new wire only to the original wire. but i believe this works as long as you dont ground your dc system to the frame? but hey, if it works run with it! have you had any problems? ive tried 4 different voltage regulators and still get 20+ volts when i rev. any advice?

but in theory even if you dont see the flickering light is receiving pulses of electricity which would cause the light to burn out sooner. with how much those lights cost, i would at very least install a small capacitor. but thats just me
