Headlight Problem

I have a 2002 blaster and the headlight will work when on "low" but when I switch it to "high" it doesn't come on. Any suggestions? Also what type of battery do blasters have? Like voltage and stuff. By the way I'm new here, first post ever. Thanks!

Welcome to the forum.... The light could have the filament blown in the bulb for the high beam, or the wire for the highbeam could be unhooked. Try checking the wires that go to the switch for the lights and make sure they are all plugged in. Blasters don't have batteries, but the lights are 12v and power comes from a magneto. Hope this helps.

if that fails, pull the front hood off, trace the wires and make sure it didnt break or come undone anywhere
