Any swing arm modification needed with IT465?

Just wondering from the handful of you that have done the 465/490 swap if the swing arm needs widened at all where the engine mounts up? I was reading this thread: http://www.blasterforum.com/full-rebuilds-128/490-blaster-build-43073/index2.html and he was talking about how he had to.

there was another 490 build on here a while back, i would imagine you're going to have to do some cutting and pasting.


when you do the motor mounts, make sure you have nice long welds to help keep them from cracking

I will just have to wait to compare the swingarm that's already hugging the 465 to the one I am having Strokedtater do for me to see if there are any differences.

As far as welds go I am having my father in law who is a fabricator do all the welding with his new tig welder. I wish I knew how to weld. I am leaning towards drilling and sleeving the frame to bolt the mounts on though.
