7.3l powerstroke issues

I know this is a long shot but if any member knows about powerstroke engines[1996 7.3l]I need help.it wont start.i put on a new lift pump its getting fuel to the filter canister but not the injectors help plz im lost

Have you checked the IPC valve? (Injector Pressure Control) On the side of the fuel bowl, i know when they go bad the truck will stumble and run terrible - if it runs at all. Other than that, its time to scan for codes.

whats the ipc look like?younggunz and herp at least the cummins has less crap to go wrong.but the powerstroke with the bullydog tuner[mine]is pretty ballsy

Carefull how much you use high on that bullydog... idk if it was just the 6.0, but we wrecked that truck with the bullydog chip

I like that cummins comes with edge ripsaw lol

I don't crank on the tuner much[mostly on stock setting]but 6.0s where known for turbo and head issues.

Yeh, i heard they had problems... brand new king ranch, traded for our 01 24v cummins (yeh we want 12v oh well)

after the 7.3 powerstrokes where junk I had an old 6.9 non turbo and it was slow
