I Got my 1 1/4" X .065, 4130 Chromoly tubing today!

I ran the bandsaw around the weld on the flag end of the stock stem, so i could remove the FLAG.

Had the Flag cut down to fit in the Chromoly tubing

Tight fit!

Im using 1" X 3/4" rectangular tub for the top center and i got the two tapered machine pieces, or what ever you call those things, at Lonestar Racing, part# 75-st005

The jig i made so i can hold the top true and square as i tig weld is much is possible in the jig.

you'll be fine, i stick welded mine, without a jig holding anything, and think they turned out just fine.

use a 50 cent piece or silver doller welded on to cap off the top of the open tubing
find one on ebay for the year of the blaster, or your birth year ?


ehhh, the flip side would look better with the eagle

i used the flap wheel on mine, it came out shiny enuf i just clear coated it....ghetto chrome

gas tungsten is the best looking but hardest to perfect
