i just rebuilt my cr125 with new rings and gaskets i was riding today and it lost all compression. i can pop start it and it runs but really bad there is not powerband and suggestions

ok so my cr85 wasnt idleing right so i tried to ajust the carb idle by the 2 screws on back of it. it idles when cold but when i ride it and stop it doesnt idle. Also when i start off ridng it for the first 5 min the powerband kicks in fine but afetr 5 min it just stops going into powerband and...

i went to take the steering stem bearings out of my 85. i got the actual bearing off but i cannot get the metal caps out of the inside of the actual frame-were the stem goes. is it abasoultley nessary that i change thoses caps of can i get away with useing the old ones?
