Need pipe recommendation for Vito's 240 +3mm stroker engine

Last year a friend of mine borrowed my blaster and melted it down in the dunes. I have since purchased vito's 240 kit with +3mm crank as well as new seals and bearings.

My question is what pipe should I use with this new engine The bike currently has a FMF Fatty with Turbine core silencer. I have had an eBay search for a Vito's Fat Bastard pipe running now for 6 months with no results.

The bike is used primarily for trail riding, as I also have a 392 Serval Banshee for the dunes. I need a strong low end to middle punch (though the top end rush of my Banshee's Toomey T5s is something I love). I know I can't have everything, so if I have to choose, I would say tuned for the middle range.

For now I intend to run the stock Vito's porting with the spacer plate (again looking for a reliable bike with strong midrange).

that FMF you have or DMC will be best for low/mids.
a Toomey will give you more mids to high
any right bend for even more high end. Trinity, CT, Dynoport, LRD

As Awk said. The Fmf you already have should serve you well in the trsils and for what you are looking for.

Vito's has the Fat Bastard pipes in stock. I can also sell you one for the same price.

Ken, I talked to you earlier this year about building this engine, for reasons I won't get into online it never happened, but if you are willing, I'll pack everything up and get it shipped out to you. I have already purchased the Vito's crank and cylinder kit as well as hot rod bearing kit and seals.

I very much want a fat bastard pipe, how do I go about getting that? I don't see it on your website.

i happy to say that a Ken O'Conner has hooked me up with a Vito's Fat Bastard pipe, and he has also agreed to port the cylinder and build the engine.
That's fat bastard pipe looks very appealing for my bbl stroker motor but can I run too toomey silencer on it so I have spark arrester option or is there a spark arrest or that will fit the bastard silencer. And sorry to jack thread but just gotta know??

I called Paul at Vitos yesterday but he never got back to me. I'll try again today and ask him about the spark arrestor.
That would be great if they had one or if the toomey silencer bolts up to it. But either way I need some sort of spark arrestor or they won't let me run in the forest, and the pipe will be no good for this guy.

you can add a spark arrestor to most all silencers, 2 & 4 strokes.
remove silencer end cap same way you would to repack it, cut arrestor flange to fit, re-install end cap.

it's just a stainless steel screen to keep any sparks from passing out, google it, you'll see many universal models.
