carb jetting

Don't buy a kit. it won't have the jets you need. I usually get my Jets at the dealer here in town. cheaper than paying for shipping.

Get a 310, 300 and a 290 to be safe.

I think imm gonna have to go 300 and up cause it has full aftermarket exhaust plus its getting bored to .060 over.

You need more than a #260 main, if you are prefixing at 32:1 then the smallest you can go is a #310 and plug chop to confirm.

The stock needle should be moved to the bottom clip for a start, you may find it can come up one.

If you run with the stock jet, be prepared to a rebuild soon, the piston will cook.
What should my jetting be if I have a dg pipe and aftermarket air filter and air box lid off ? And what does the lid off do ?

#290-300 main,confirmed by a plug chop, not because I said so!

Removing the lid allows more air to enter into the box, which in turn requires more fuel to maintain the correct air/fuel ratio.

What folks are trying to say is that the DG pipe produces very little power over a stock system.

DG = don't go.
DG = don't get.
DG = don't grumble.
