I asume it's a xr 250 motor that has about 28-29 hp i'll be better on trails and hill climes than fast tracks and hevier, you will see that it wil not rev as fast as a blaster motor and not have the reponse as a 2 stroke if it will fit at all Nuno

Mine had the exact same cracks , also agree it's from twist i don't jump much so i'm guessing its from going over big rocks and ledges and stuff I welded in a small reinforcement plate in the center of the cracks Will see if it helps Nuno

You need to remove the side cover put 2 or 3 bricks or someting under the wheels on that side to tilt the bike so almost no oil will be lost Most likely you will need a new gasket then remove the clip and refit the side cover just have to plug the hole in the carb and don't forget...

Do you have the oil injection still connected ? If so you don't pre-mix or else you will foul the plug with too much oil nuno
