Whats the Best motor to swap to?

I did the 465 swap last year. It's been broken in the garage since. Just haven't had time to work on it but it's a lot of fun when its working. I say stick with the stock engine if you want it to be more reliable. Thinking I'm going to repair mine and sell it off for something more reliable...

    ??????????????

Not enough WD-40? Makes great toothpaste in a jam also, loosens up all the plaque and tartar buildup. ;)

    ??????????????

Fyi WD40 doesn't lubricate one bit. It is a water disperser. It's the dissolving materials that make it appear to be a lubricant. They still use the same old formula that has been tried and true for over 50 years. Great for loosening stubborn bolts. Terrible for lubricating...

    Yamaha IT 475???

Parts are available but are expensive and you may have to shop around to find it. They are NOT counterbalanced. I have an it465 in my blaster, it vibrates a lot but is manageable. Keepin the frame in one piece will be the hard part.

    Yamaha Blaster Brakes.

2003+ is bolt on but it would be a lot cheaper to get a set of front hydraulic spindles from ken o connor and piece everything else together.

Will Warrior rims fit on the stock blaster hubs ?

Different hubs would be needed in the rear. Banshee\yfz450\raptor\warrior. Fronts are the same on the blaster and warrior.

    Ididdy's rebuild

I think the welds were plenty strong also. My suspicions are that the 1/4" plate takes too much heat for proper penetration for the thin wall mild steel blaster frame to handle. I haven't touched it since I got home from the trip. I have just been thinking of different ways to fix it and mount...

Will a 400ex swinger fit on a blaster???

Why are you wanting to do this? There are much cheaper and less time consuming options if you are looking for a longer swingarm.

    Carb help needed.

That's exactly what I was thinking as the flywheel has a lot to do with the ignition. The blaster engine shouldn't be able to kick back on you hard at all unless it was firing at the wrong time.
