Blaster with full fmf jet size?

im runnin a fatty header with the q silencer...260 main in mine and i feel as if i need to go to a 270...i have to take the air screw all the way in before it will even run right without a deadspot, it wont idle like that but it runs good...if i back the airscrew out a tad, it will idle but has a deadspot in it when u are at about 50% throttle and smash it in to 100%....it bogs and then takes off like a bat out of hell......any suggestions?

I think like 200 or something.. So if it's go there. I would be good with a 260 or 270... I have a 290 but nothin lower. Wait I have a 240... Anyway to get more air in

Actually ment the pipe.

To produce its full potential, any pipe requires a correct jetting set up, .

Power then can be harnessed, by the choice of gearing to produce speed.

Get the jetting right, unleash the power, grab the bars and prepare to be cleaning bugs out of your teeth.

Pipe doesn't give u more top speed either. Different pipes just move the power curve up or down. I mean a dyno port vs a DG, that's different but the principle is still the same. Better designed Pipes allow for more output at different rpms and build power differently. Fmf, great low end power. Toomey, great mid, upper end power.

I am looking for top end.. I might get bigger front sprocket then smaller in back. And then maybe header. Any other easy tips ti make it go faster for cheap?

Remove all plastics and anything that creates wind resistance.

Lay down on the tank whilst riding.

Ride with mouth closed.

Loose a few pounds, not only from the bike.:D

yup, i'll think you will be fine...have you tweaked with the airscrew yet? you can take your airbox lid off which is the first thing i would do...fmf called for a 260 when i gave them a call....so if your running stock engine and just a exhaust with no air box lid u should be ready to go with a 260-270I:I
