McMaster-Carr

its alloy 932, and here is the product # 7815K25 for the first one, and the second one is # 7815K62

the first one has a 5/16 shaft diameter wich will have to be drilled out to 10mm or close to 6/16, and the second one has a shaft diameter of 7/16 wich is a little big for 10mm bolt.

So, you will need 2 of those at 3.95 a piece and 9.99 shipping to my house +2.00 bolt at local hardware total of $19.89 plus then u have to buy a drill bit or at least drill it out and have a drill press to do it straight?? How are you saving money/time over $25 dollar KOR set???

I understand wanting to "Make" something cheaper that works, but It isn't cheaper and it surely isn't better.

If your bent on doing it however, go for it let us know how it works out!

dont you just love a guy that steps over a dollar to pick up a nickel ? Im all about doing it myself too, but when you can buy something that is engineered and readily available and definitely affordable....I gotta take the path of least resistance.

By the time your age doubles, you will realize that the easiest way is the best way.
I'm all for doing/making stuff, but at my age I need to save time also
If I can ask what did you pay for that shock?

I was always tought to get sh!t done and to work hard while being smart in the most effective way. A really hard lesson by my teacher..... Lol. Anyway I payed 22$ and 13$ in shipping.
