i'll try not to speak for yb but I don't have a problem with it because I'm willing to support a site that's definitely saved me a lot more than the 10 bucks it costs to support it. and if more people support, hopefully some of the problems the site is having will be able to be alieviated

well for one thing i didnt notice i had that high of a post count but yes there is a reason why i am not a supporting member i have no money. what do you expect me to do??
when i am 16 and can get a job ill be supporting in no time

Well trust me man I know what its like to have no money I've been there. But I also know u get what u pay for and in order to keep something going it takes financial support. Also the help, advice, and information that is offered here is well worth a little money. I agree with the idea of having "levels" of support. I also agree that the buying and selling should be alloted to supporting members only. As far as chat goes it doesnt really matter to me. But if u dont have any incentive to be a supporting member few will bother.

But I will say if I pay the money I want to see change otherwise my money is wasted in my opinion. I know when I became a supporting member, my money was paid for days before I was updated. And I was only updated after several emails requesting my update. When a person gives u there hard earned money they expect results. This HAS to work both ways admins you expect us to support and we as members expect smooth operation and what is supposed to happen to happen.

i would love to be a supporting member but until i get a job i cant pay.
the only supporting members buy and sell is ok but screws a lot of us over. i have been around for quite a while and have bought and sold to people on here just fine. it should not be restricted to only supporting members. that is a feature avaible for free on any forum out there why should we be any different
also we are just members we do not have the power to make changes we are always asking for changes but thats up for the administrators to decide not us

i dont think thats a good idea because most teenagers roughly 45% 55% of the site cannot have paypal or w.e i think so how would we donate i just dont agree with if you dont give money to the forum you lose privliges (i know i screwed that word up) on the site their should be some other kind of incentive i think

your incentive could be to win BOTM, winning that will pay out more than what a 10$ a yr membership costs.........if ya factor in the sticker, the cost to make it, the cost to ship it....and a free yr subscription and a 2nd yr if u are already a supporter, plus all the new options possibly coming......its not to bad

I think it will be harder to get supporting members if the mebership is increased.Different levels of supporting members is a good idea.I personally would be happy to pay a little more but this forum is driving me crazy lately with all the damn fatal errors,blank white screen,etc.I know I have said it already but fix that problem and I will be happy to spend an extra $10.

lol agreed 100% and for freek what if you take those incentives for the botm away from those who doesnt support i could deal with that cause id doubt id win anyway and its less important than the chat and the forsale section.

its cool man i was just saying as example........i understand everyones opinion and thats was this poll was made for, just to get an idea of everyones thoughts on it..........this does not mean that this is gonna happen

but i think the diffrent level of supporter icon would be the cats meow

I think the deal here is that we have alot of younger members her (no disrespect) and they don't have the ability to support. Also others are cautious to give any more because no one likes to throw there money away. u have to be very careful when raising prices(I know I run my own business) you could end up hurting yourself you may end up with know supporting members. Also u should check with your state laws on creditable income. I know in my state any income over $999 must be reported and taxes have to be paid. I'm sure right now u dont have that problem but what about in the future?

I just think it funny that you guys biotch about 10.00 a year for supporting membership, sh*t half of you guys have a ton of aftermarket work done to your Blasters. You could just wait for that one new part put 10.00 up and support a great site. That helped you out with building your Blasters one way or another.

First off cuz I voted yes to the increase, and trust me money ain't my problem. All I was sayin was that admin needs to be sure that OUR money is used to OUR benefit I mean I get both sides I get we need money to better the site but I also know and understand that there are thousands of other forums net wide that are free to all. I think if the money is needed than treat it like a business let us know where our money is going show us results. Is that not justified?
