i dont want to be hated for this but i was thinking about saving up for a z400.. if anybody could tell me if they are reliable at all or are they good quads??

from what i've understood its the same motor as the one in my drz400sm, only with reverse. if thats the case, the engine is about as bullet proof as it can get. it may not have the most power but it will take a beating

alright but yea i went out tuday riding and we tried to ride threw this creek and it was like a f*cking pond.. so i bogged out.. pipe above water and sh*t.. but im takin it apart tmrw.. and i want something with more clerance and power and everything i guess.. but do u think its worth it to save about 1500 cuz i can get 800 out of my blaster in a year if that

i think i remember hearing something about how people feel unstable at high speeds on them because there so tall. maybe in your situation that might be a good thing. but they are obviously gonna have a good amount of power and torque being a big thumper like that. if you can get a good deal on one, i'd say go for it

o ok well ill snoop around and just keep pn getting peoples views.. i dnt got nothing else to buy anyways lol.. but thanks for your guys opinions keep em coming.. and myusername did u come to ERIE for roar on the shore??? i live like right up the road from the casino

I agree with the only live once thing...and people need to stop hating on Z400's they are GREAT bikes. And they are not that tall... a Raptor FEELS tall, the Z feels super stable compared to them. And if you want a 450 get the Zuki or Yamaha

you are comparing two different quads.

the z400 has a good engine, but they are tall for its class
