I have a 2000 Yamaha blaster. When I got it it was very tired smoked a lot but when I drove it it didn’t bog. I have put a top end on it and it idled at first when I did the first heat cycles but when I took it to the dunes it wouldn’t idle. It goes through 1-2 gears fine with no bogging but after that it bogs after 1/2-3/4 throttle. It won’t really climb hills without bogging either. The top speed is better in 5th then 6th. It has the air box lid off, the stock exhaust but it seems like the baffle is out of it. Everything to be deleted is deleted. It has the idle adjustment screw you drill, other then that it is stock. Any help would be appreciated.

Did you bore your stock cylinder or buy a kit? New gaskets
It's recommended to do a 2t leakdown test
After a rebuild to insure you have no air leaks.reed cage area is very common
If it's stock jetting put the lid back on airbox and try it
Air filter clean?

DO A LEAK DOWN TEST !!
Air box lid off is not stock! You need at least one size larger main jet.
Are you premixing or oil injection?
Excess smoke screams crank seal leak !!
