The new formula is now readily biodegradable, environmentally friendly, phosphate free and non-chalking. The previous formula was classified as biodegradable but now is classified as readily biodegradable because it can be broken down faster than the prior version. The new formula is also more environmentally friendly by being phosphate free. Without phosphates it will also prevent the product from chalking. The MX ATV Wash is much better than your regular ole car wash. It is stronger than a car wash and will not harm any surface to which it is applied. It is designed for more of what you put an ATV through than a car. MX ATV Wash does have some degreasers in it to cut through grease, oil, chain lube etc.. but it also "lifts" dirt and debris off the surface differently than a car wash solution. MX ATV Wash also has some wax properties in it and Mud Guard as well. The waxes help with sheeting and shine and the Mud Guard helps keep debris from sticking too hard so it is easier to hose off. There are no abrasives in our product and nothing in it that will harm plastic, rubber, decals, any metals. It is totally con-corrsive, biodegradable, phosphate free.
