so I believe me slydog and awk were talking about different oils to use. I said I'd try a weedeater oil.
So I had some john deere branded premix oil that I have been running in an lt80 for 5 weeks now.
I believe the oil is made by echo because it's from the time that echo made john deere chainsaws before they went to selling stihl stuff. So the lt80 is a fan forced air cooling just like a weedeater so I figured what's the difference so I've been running it premixed at 32 to 1 and it still starts right up has good compression and runs just fine.
Now I know its different than our blasters. But I figured I try it on the lt 80 and see what happens. So far its turned out fine. And my son has it pinned every where he goes. I have run put of that oil now and it's no longer made but it did work good so I dont see why any other quality chainsaw premix oil wouldn't work.
Just an fyi for everyone
