So i just bought a 2001 blaster last week. its my 1st quad and i love it. i was checking it over and was wondering about wheel bearing. There seems to be some free play on the front wheel. the axle nut is on tight and the lug nuts. Are the bearings repackable or do you just replace them? As i said this is my 1st ever quad so i am not sure what i am supposed to have.
thanks
Damian

You replace the bearings, you can pack them for a temp fix i believe, but you might as well replace them.

While you are doing it, i suggest replacing the rear axle bearings, the ones in the carrier hub

Your quad will roll so much nicer with them all done I:I

BTW: Welcome to the forum! Post up some pics of the quad :D (how to post pics in my signature)

Sounds like you need some bearings. Just order some new ones. Kits with bearings and oil seals go for about 25 bucks on eBay. Just make sure you get the kit for your style of hub. Either 88-02 Or 03-06.
