vp race fuel?

Yup but it is not required for engines with stock compression.

Raise the compression and the use of high octane fuel is required to combat pre ignition.

The more compression , the higher octane required.

Use of high octane fuel in lower compression engines is a waste of money and will possibly rob some power due to the slower burn rate of the fuel.

ok whats the #1 thing that everyone does for more compression

Sometimes I run a 50/50 mix of VP and 93 octane in my Blaster. Usually just because I already have it mixed up for the Banshee and I don't feel like getting more gas!

I will say it runs well, but isn't needed on the my Blaster. When my head was rechambered, I clearly remember Ken asking me if I still wanted to run pump gas, which I did.

Get your head modded, its a great improvement, and a noticeable power increase for not alot of cash.
