Supercross style tracks do this. I have seen RPM, Durablue and lonestar get snapped here as well. Believe it or not more RPM Dominators than any other. I saw a 450 rider snap 2 lonestar axles in the same day. I guess it's the mix of clay, hard pack and the jumps.

Here is video of moto 1 same day axle broke in moto2. Colby made the pass off camera on first lap and checked out to a point where it was hard to see him.
