trouble installin' stator

need help installing stator.....any help???

what exactly are you having trouble doing? removing the stator itself or the flywheel in front of it?

if its the fly wheel, there is a special tool to hold it in place while you loosen the bolt. best bet is to have the dealer crack it loose for you and then have them torque it back down afterward.

Not sure why installing would be a problem.. Bolt in stator, put in key in the crank, slip on the flywheel, hit it with a air gun(or impact drill if you got no air), and drink a cold one..

Removing it is another story. You need a special puller tool to pull the flywheel(link below).

^^ Believe me, that tool is worth it's weight in gold if your flywheel is baked on. Be sure to to use some anti-seize compound when putting back the flywheel.
