Trail Tech Computer Kit

i am looking at the trail tech vapor computer kit for my 05 blaster. Has anyone put them on their blaster

personally i wouldn't do it. a blaster stator can't even run led lights without blowing them out let alone that. i would hate to see you blow out a 100 dollar speedo. without a battery there just isn't consistant voltage. even with a regulator its always changing

I run one on my raptor 660 and love it! Theres a battery already located in the computer so it will run without a battery. If you wanted to, you could hook up a battery, or ditch the tail light and just wire it into the stator

yea i figured that it only runs on a self battery so it should be fine

how does it tell the temp of the engine?

it has a wire andfor a bansee there i a sensor that goes between ur tubes off the rad

i know how it works on the banshee, but where would you get a temp reading for the blaster?

There is a ring u put under the spark plug and that tells the engine temp. I am going to get one for my warrior and blaster. My buddy has one and he loves it.

This is the one I will be getting once the fundage rolls in. Tells time, distance traveled, air temp, engine temp. Tach, speedo, top speed.

how does that thing mount? and they say it doesnt come with the temp sensor just the ability to read it.

No they all come with the temp sensor. Its a real nice unit. I cant wait to get the money for it. As for mounting it comes with a bar clamp. It does its job but the extra alum one for 90 bucks looks alot better lol.

i put one on by blaster and loved the features of it but then i wired it up to power it all it did was kill the power then drive on
