Softening the rear suspension

Hey I'm trying to figure out how I adjust my rear shock. I have a 400ex shock and I am looking to soften it a little bit because i weigh less. But I'm not exactly sure what i have to do on my shock and i am afraid to screw up the whole shock. If anyone on here has got a 400ex shock then please let me know hoe exactly you adjust it. Thank you!

Adjust the upper screw counter clock wise to soften compression .
