Silencer Pipe > Head Pipe

Does anyone know what different brands of silencer pipes will fit together with a F7 head pipe...

i.e. Will a toomey silencer pipe fit up with a F7 head pipe?

At the moment I have an FMF silencer on a F7 head pipe, but the FMF has a hole in it, so it doesn't silence much.

thats no good. why dont you call factory 7 and get them to send you a silencer. im sure they would.

I am sure you could get any silencer to fit on there just depends on how much you want to modify or cut it up.

You could rig any pipe to fit a silencer, prob even make a smoke pipe out of it. But WHY??? Each head pipe is tuned to fit IT'S unique silencer for max power. If you go mixing pipes and silencers your going to be hurting your power. If you have a F-7 head pipe then you need to get THERE silencer. Or lose performance.

eh IDK about that. The pipe is the thing that give the most performance. I think a silencer is an silencer either way it just silences the exhaust noise.

The design of the silencer can make a pipe have more or less back pressure. Like a narrow short, is top end and a fat long is more bottem-mid. You wouldent want to buy a toomey and run it into a FMF silencer, they contradict each other. But thats just my 2cents, mabyee someone else can speak on this.
