Shift drum bearing

IIRC, the bearing is non-removeab, see parts diagram above /\/\.
The "fingers" in your picture are what holds bearing and drum in place. On 03-06 the shift star is welded to drum, so no way to replace it anyway.
Be sure to clean threads and use loctite on screw.
Consider doing a shift star mod while it's apart.
IF that bearing was worn out you'd have bigger problems than that. Drum only revoles about half a turn, not like a spinning shaft.
