i got a dyna tech programmable cdi? how exactly does it work? any one know?

It modifies the stock timing curve. The "programmable" part means you can plug a laptop into it and manually program the timing curve yourself if you wanted.

I'm not sure you can download them? Here's the user manual for it.
The programmable ones are covered on page 2.
