What covers have you guys used and were they hard to install your self if you did the work?

Fortunately I have the expertise and make my own, but I assure you they can be a challenge to fit.

We put an N-stylez gripper on my brothers, you never move on that seat, unless its muddy...

I wouldnt say its hard, staple the front, and slowly make your way along the sides, stretching as much as you can.

it is not too hard to do. just do like herpderp said and also, if something doesn't look right, just pull some staples out and stretch it tighter and re-staple.

i might also add that it would be best to do it on a warm day when the cover is softer and easier to stretch.
