Recommended gas octane on stock 2004 blaster with oil injection

I live by the “all because it CAN run on 87 octane, doesn’t mean it should “

I personally use 93 octane. And realistically it’s not much more in price (in my area).

It may also come down to the modifications you have on your machine.

Though everyone has a different opinion about octane ratings and the use of them in their machines. I MAY not be getting any benefits from the 93 but I’m ok with it. And if I am getting an edge or benefit, then great. Either way I’m happy.

Mine is stock engine wise...but I keep hearing run 93 octane you're supposed too

So I keep hearing that i should 92 octane in my quad ...what's everyone's opinion on that..plz be honest....
What octane you quad needs comes down to how much compression you are running.
150-165 psi compression will require 93 octane
The octane number is a detonation number.
The higher the number the higher resistance to detonation
If it is stock then it should be able to run on 87.
If not sure run a higher octane. Might cost you slightly more

So if I decide to run higher octane...it wont hurt it??

My blasters seem to run much better on 93. I bought them used and had to have carbs rebuilt. My friend who did the work recommended 93.
I'll never use anything else.
