well im pretty much done with my "rebuild" it was a completely budgeted rebuild..i did all the work myself with the help of a few friends.
keep in mind when i got this the motor was completely seized up, couldnt crank, clutch was in a million peices in the motor and it "needed a new top end" according to the previous owner
now for what i did:

Brand new parts replaced:
spark plug
oem clutch hub
vitos hp clutch kit
oem clutch cable
oem gasket set

used parts i bought:
clutch basket
front fender bracket
kill/headlight switch

in addition to these, i ...
greased all grease fittings
replaced tranny oil
flushed the motor with 'cleaner'
ran fresh 93 octane mixed with bel ray 2 cycle oil
sanded primed painted plastics/frame/wheels/exhaust components
replaced alot of missing hardware (headlight bracket, stator cover, axel bolts, etc)

the remaining things i need to address:
full set of tires
get headlight to work
get a rear pullbar

and here is the before picture (first day i had it, august 4th)

its not bad..it leaks a little oil from the oil window, and for whatever reason the gas likes to disapear..but it was definately worth trading a goped for haha
