rear shock help!

hey, i have works suspension in the front. but what shock will bolt up in the rear without any major mods. im hearing the 400ex and 250ex. im lost i need help from someone who knows what their doing...B)

400ex bolst on, but u need spacers for the top mount

400ex fits with some bushings and the 450r fits with some bushing and grinding the fender mount tab on the kicker side

the 250r rear shock is a bolt on as well

250r? theres a raptor 250r, suzuki 250r, honda atc 250r?

atc or trx 250r, years '86-'87 only though. the other years are different lengths
